Crossland X Height Control Restricted

I'm encountering a problem with my 2021 Vauxhall Crossland X diesel. Mileage is at 237232 km. The height control seems restricted. I'm getting a warning light and the low beam is misaligned. Also, the front axle height seems off compared to the rear, resulting in a bumpy ride. An error is stored in the system. I suspect a defective control rod on the sensor, but I wanted to get other opinions.

I had a similar issue with my Crossland. Is the ride particularly harsh? The warning light definitely points to a suspension issue. Have you checked the error code? It could be a faulty sensor or, as you suspect, the control rod. It's a common problem. I'd be interested to know what code you're seeing.

Thanks for the insight. I am seeing the error code C0585-71. Is that the same error code you encountered?

Yes, that was exactly the same error I was seeing. In my case, it was indeed the control rod on the sensor. I tried fiddling with it myself, but ended up taking it to a workshop. It's a delicate system, and I didn't want to make things worse. Save yourself the hassle and let them diagnose and fix it.

Appreciate the confirmation. I will schedule an appointment with a workshop for diagnosis and repair. Estimate is around 110€. Thank you for your time and help!
