Crossland X Start Stop Failure

Hey, my 2021 Vauxhall Crossland X diesel is giving me grief! The start-stop system isn't working. I get an error in the memory, the engine shuts off randomly, and a warning light pops up on the speedometer. Could it be the battery?

Yeah, sometimes it does sound a bit weak. Could a dodgy battery really cause all those start-stop problems?

That's exactly what happened with mine. The battery was on its way out, messing with the start-stop system. Best get it checked at a garage.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – battery was heavily discharged and causing the start-stop issues. New battery fitted, cost 290€, and everything's working fine now!
