Crossland X Tire Pressure Warning

My 2021 Vauxhall Crossland X, gasoline engine, with 71963 km is throwing a hissy fit. The low tire pressure warning keeps popping up, the ABS lamp lights up sometimes, the steering wheel vibrates, and it's hard to steer. It feels like the power steering's gone. I've checked the pressures manually and one tire keeps losing pressure. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Crossland X. Kept getting the low pressure warning even after inflating the tires. Did you check the tire itself carefully for any damage, like a nail or screw?

Yeah, I gave them a good once-over. Didn't see anything obvious. Could it be the valve itself leaking? It's weird that it's only one tire that's playing up. Thinking maybe a slow puncture I can't spot?

Could very well be the valve. I had a defective valve on one of my tires. It was causing a really slow leak that was a pain to diagnose. Eventually had to take it to a shop to get it sorted, they changed the valve and the issue disappeared.

Cheers for the tip! Took it to the workshop. Turns out the tire valve was indeed defective, just like you said. New valve fitted, and all sorted. Cost me 280€, but at least the shaking and the warnings are gone!
