CrosslandX anti theft alarm fault
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X experienced a non-functional anti-theft alarm, with an error memory indicating a fault. The issue was potentially linked to the alarm system's coding, specifically related to the activation of indicators during locking. A workshop diagnosed and resolved the problem by resetting the coding, restoring the alarm's functionality.

The battery seems fine, the car starts without any problems. And no, nothing else unusual that I can think of. What exactly was the problem with your Peugeot?

Turns out my Peugeot's alarm system was coded to activate the indicators when locking, and somehow that setting got corrupted. It messed everything up. I'd suggest getting the alarm control module checked out by a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a local workshop and they found that the alarm system was indeed coded to activate optical locking (indicators) which caused the issue. They reset the coding, and it's working fine now. Cost me 45€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot 308. Anti-theft alarm just quit working. Have you checked the battery recently? A low battery can sometimes cause weird issues with the alarm system. Did you notice anything else unusual before it stopped working?
