CrosslandX engine jerking hissing noise

My 2021 Vauxhall CrosslandX with a gasoline engine is acting up. The check engine light is on, and it's jerking when I accelerate. I'm also hearing whistling and loud hissing when accelerating. Sometimes it stalls at idle, and my fuel consumption seems higher with reduced engine power. Could this be a bad boost pressure sensor? I've checked the visible wiring, but nothing obvious.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my CrosslandX. Have you checked the cable or plug connection of the boost pressure sensor? That was the culprit for me.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the boost pressure sensor located, and what should I be looking for on the cable/plug?

It's near the turbocharger, but honestly, without the right tools, it's hard to diagnose. Given the symptoms, it's likely the cable or plug connection. I would suggest taking it to a workshop. It cost me about 95€ to fix it.

Thanks a lot! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the boost pressure sensor cable/plug connection. Seems like that's the likely culprit. I appreciate the help!
