CrosslandX Engine Throttle Issues

Anyone else had issues with the engine throttle on their Vauxhall CrosslandX? My 2019 diesel is showing higher fuel consumption and struggles to start. Mileage is 44558 km. Suspect it's a defective accelerator pedal module.

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Vauxhall CrosslandX diesel owner reported issues with higher fuel consumption and difficulty starting, suspecting a defective accelerator pedal module. Another owner suggested cleaning the throttle body as a potential solution. However, the problem persisted, and a professional diagnosis revealed a defective throttle valve, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I've got a CrosslandX too, and had similar symptoms last year. Did you try cleaning the throttle body? It might be worth a shot before looking at the module.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried cleaning it yet. Was your issue definitely the throttle body, and did cleaning it solve the problem?

Well, cleaning didn't fix it completely. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a defective throttle valve. Best to get it checked out professionally.

Thanks. Appreciate the advice. Took it in, and you were right. Throttle valve was buggered. Cost X€205 to replace. Running much better now.
