CrosslandX Intermittent Starting Issue

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2017 Vauxhall CrosslandX diesel. It's got about 125k km on it. Sometimes it won't start, other times it just shuts off while I'm driving, and occasionally runs really rough. I've checked the usual stuff, but I'm wondering if it could be the ignition switch? Is there a fuse for the ignition that might be defective?

Hey! I've got a CrosslandX too, and I had similar problems a while back. Did you check the car electronics in general? For me the symptoms were related to the key turn, when that happened.

Thanks! You mean like the car electronics related to starting? What exactly did you do to fix it? Any hints would be super helpful!

Yeah, it was definitely related to the car electronics and the key turn. I couldn't figure it out myself, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Ok, thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be a faulty fuse related to the ignition switch – exactly as suspected. Cost me 52€ to fix. Thanks again!
