CrosslandX Keyless Entry Failure

Interesting, a faulty door switch... I've only given the handle a quick once-over so far. Where exactly is this door switch located? Is it part of the door mechanism?

Yep, the switch is usually integrated into the door handle mechanism. Honestly, tracing the fault and replacing it can be a pain without the right tools. Might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. They can pinpoint the exact issue.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a local workshop and they confirmed it was a defective connection in the door handle. Replaced it for 95€, and the keyless entry is working perfectly again.

Sounds familiar. Had a similar gremlin with my old BMW 3 series. Keyless entry packed in, and it turned out to be a faulty door switch in the handle itself. Did you check the door actuator, or just the handle?
