Thank you for your prompt response. I have not yet performed any vehicle diagnostics. When you mention inspecting the cable and plug connections, are there any specific points I should be looking for, or any particular tools I might require?

In my case, the issue was indeed a faulty connection to one of the ignition coils. Carefully examine the wires for any signs of damage, such as fraying or corrosion. Ensure the plugs are securely connected to the coils. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I would advise consulting a qualified workshop to conduct a thorough inspection and address the issue. It is crucial to resolve this promptly to prevent potential engine damage.

I appreciate your advice. Based on your input, I took it to a local workshop. The diagnostics confirmed a defective ignition coil, and the cable connection was indeed faulty. The total repair cost was 95€. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

I also own a Vauxhall CrosslandX and experienced similar symptoms recently. Rough running, occasional stalling, and the check engine light were all present. Have you had any vehicle diagnostics performed to read the error codes? It does sound like a misfire, which is often related to the coil pack. Before replacing the coil pack, I would suggest inspecting the cable and plug connections to the component. It might be a simple fix.
