Thanks for the tip! How long did you disconnect the battery for? And did it completely resolve your Volvo's issue or was there more to it?

I left it off for about half an hour, just to be sure. It did clear the initial errors, but the Volvo still needed a software installation at the dealership to properly fix the underlying problem. Sounds like yours will need a visit to the workshop to get sorted.

Thanks for confirming. I suspected as much. I'll book it in with Vauxhall and see what they say. At least it should be covered under warranty, so hopefully, repair cost will be 0€.

That's a weird one. I had a similar problem with my old Volvo a few years back. It wasn't exactly transport mode, but I had all sorts of electrical gremlins and the sat nav went haywire. Did you try disconnecting the battery for a while to see if it resets?
