Crossroad Radio Reception Issue
Summary of the thread
The 2010 Honda Crossroad experienced radio reception issues, with the infotainment system displaying error messages and audio cutting out. A defective antenna was suspected as the cause. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was suggested to check the antenna ground for corrosion. Upon inspection by a workshop, the antenna was confirmed to be defective and was replaced, resolving the reception problem.

Thanks for the reply! Where exactly did you find the problem with the antenna ground? Was it visibly corroded, or did you have to test it?

In my case, it was heavily corroded where the antenna connected to the car body. Caused all sorts of interference. Given the symptoms, I'd advise getting it checked by a workshop, may be hard to diagnose yourself.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were right, antenna was defective. Cost me 255€ to fix. FM signal is back to normal now.

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. Same symptoms: error message, audio cuts, and error codes. Have you checked the antenna ground? Weak FM signal and static noise were constant companions during that time.
