Crossroad rear sun blind issue
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Honda Crossroad owner is experiencing issues with the rear sun blind, which has stopped retracting and extending properly, accompanied by an error message. The problem is likely due to a defective sunblind motor, as indicated by error codes and the absence of operational noise. The suggested solution is to have the motor replaced, which a workshop has confirmed, estimating the repair cost at around 330€.

Thanks for the quick reply! No noise at all, completely silent. Is it a big job to replace the motor? The error codes are pointing to the sunblind motor as well.

Yeah, silent points to the motor being dead for sure. On my 5 series, it was a pain to get to, needed to remove a fair bit of trim. I would suggest going to a workshop.

Sounds familiar. Had a similar issue with the sunshade in my old BMW 5 series. If you have an error code, it might be the motor that drives the blind. Is it making any noise when you try to operate it?
