Crown AC System Failure

I'm having an issue with my 2022 Toyota Crown hybrid, with 125316 km on it. The AC system isn't working. It doesn't cool, and the system doesn't engage when activated. I've checked basic functions, but the problem remains. Could this be a defect in the AC system valves?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Crown. The cooling just stopped. A pressure switch could be faulty, or even the AC relay. Does the compressor kick on at all when you turn on the AC? If not, check the AC compressor fuse first!

Thanks! The compressor doesn't seem to engage. I'll check the fuse. Did your issue present the same way, and can you elaborate on what needed fixing in your case?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to mine. No compressor, no cooling. I checked fuses and relays, but I’d just take it to a workshop. Better safe than sorry with AC systems, especially with these newer cars. They can diagnose it properly and save you a headache.

Thanks for the advice! I consulted a technician, and they found a defect in the AC system valves, just as you suspected. The repair cost 1000€.
