Crown electric alarm malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Toyota Crown electric experienced a malfunction with its anti-theft alarm system, which was entirely non-functional and stored a fault in the error memory. Thanks! To clarify, the alarm isn't triggered randomly; it's entirely non-functional. Does this align with your issue?

Ah, that's a bit different then. Mine was randomly triggering. Given it's completely non-functional, I'd suggest getting it checked by a workshop. Sounds like a deeper problem they'd be better equipped to diagnose.

Thanks for the insight and recommendation! A trip to the workshop seemed best. Turns out, the alarm system was coded to activate optical locking (indicators). Cost me 45€ to fix, and the problem is now solved! Thanks again!

I have a Crown, but not the electric version. Sounds similar to something I experienced last year. Was the alarm going off randomly, or simply not working at all?
