Crown Fog Sensor Malfunction

Has anyone experienced a fog sensor malfunction on their 2020 Toyota Crown hybrid? I have 114251 km on the odometer and am experiencing an error being stored, the AC failing, spray nozzles freezing, and the mirror heating not working. Diagnostics suggest a cable or plug issue.

That sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my 2018 Volvo XC60. My automatic headlights went haywire, and the climate control was acting up too. Did you check all the related fuses? That was the culprit for me.

Thank you for your suggestion. I had not considered the fuses. Could you elaborate on which specific fuses were affected in your Volvo? Knowing that detail might assist me in narrowing down the potential source of the issue on my Crown.

Sure thing. For me, it was fuse #42, which controlled the rain sensor and seemed to be linked to the headlight and climate control systems. But honestly, it's probably best to just get it checked. I ended up taking mine to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quickly. Good luck!
