Interesting... a faulty sensor? Where was the sensor located on your Volvo, and how did you figure out that was the issue? Was it expensive to fix?

On the Volvo, it was a battery sensor integrated into the negative terminal cable. Honestly, I only found out when the dealership diagnosed it. I tried messing with the battery and all the usual checks, but no luck. I'd suggest getting yours checked out by a pro. Could save you a lot of headache, and potential damage to the hybrid system. Don't want to mess with that!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on! The battery sensor was defective, causing all the issues. They replaced it for 315€. Runs like new now!

Whoa, that sounds rough! Had similar happen with my 2018 Volvo XC60, though not a hybrid. Symptoms were close – dimming lights, weird error codes, sluggish starts. Checked all the usual suspects like battery terminals and charging, but nothing obvious. Turned out to be a faulty sensor messing with the battery management system. Could that be it in your Crown?
