Crown Hybrid Starting Issues

My 2022 Toyota Crown hybrid is acting up. Sometimes it won't start, other times it stalls, and when it does run, it's rough. Mileage is at 78249 km. Any ideas?

Rough running on a hybrid Crown, eh? I had similar gremlins in my old Lexus – turned out to be a flaky ignition coil causing havoc with the car electronics. Does the dashboard light up normally when it refuses to start? Have you checked the basics, like the fuses related to the ignition and starter motor? A defective fuse can cause all sorts of mayhem.

Dashboard lights seem normal. Where exactly should I be looking for this fuse?

Ah, the fuse box location... that's always a fun treasure hunt! Check your owner's manual first; it should have a diagram. Typically, there's one under the hood and another inside the cabin, near the steering wheel or glove box. I'd bet it's something simple like that; otherwise, you're looking at a workshop visit.

Turns out it was a defective fuse, as you suggested! Cost me 52€ at the repair shop. Thanks for the help!
