Interesting. Was it difficult to diagnose the faulty door sensor? Did you need any special tools, or could you tell by looking at it?

It was a nightmare to diagnose. I had to go to the workshop. They have the right equipment. I advise you to do the same.

Thanks for the advice! It was indeed the door handle electronics as the workshop stated. I decided to get the electronics changed for 95€ and now everything is working as expected!

I had a similar problem with my old Audi A4. The keyless go stopped working. It turned out to be a faulty door sensor. These sensors communicate if the door is closed. If it doesn't work the whole locking system acts up.
