Crown Overheating Electric Fan Issue

Good call on the fuse, I'll check that first thing. If the fuse is okay, how can I tell if it's really a bad connection or something else entirely? Is there a way to test the electric fan motor itself?

If the fuse is fine, then testing the motor directly is a good idea, but can be tricky. Honestly, at that point, unless you're super comfortable with auto electrics, it might be worth a trip to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue. The connection could be anywhere in the circuit like a bad wire in the harness. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

You were spot on! Took it to a shop, and it turned out to be a dodgy plug on the fan motor, just like I suspected. 95€ later, and she's running cool as a cucumber. Thanks for the advice!

Overheating is never good! Could be a few things, but if you suspect the fan, have you checked the fuse? It's like a tiny circuit breaker for the fan's electric motor. If that's blown, the fan won't get any power. Also, is the fan completely dead, or does it sometimes work?
