Crown Rail Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Toyota Crown hybrid is experiencing issues with the check engine light, stalling at idle, and a drop in engine power, with error codes indicating a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. A similar case revealed that replacing the sensor alone did not resolve the issue, as there was an underlying electrical problem causing false readings. It is recommended to have the vehicle professionally diagnosed and repaired to address the root cause effectively.

Fuel consumption seems normal, and no strange noises that I've noticed. Just the stalling and power loss, along with the light. Was your error code specifically pointing to the pressure sensor?

Yep, exactly the same error code. I replaced the sensor myself at first, but the problem persisted. Turned out there was a deeper electrical issue causing the sensor to give false readings. I would suggest getting it checked by a professional.

Thanks for the insight. Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop. The repair set me back 240€, but at least it's running smoothly now. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Crown. Symptoms sound identical: check engine light and stalling. I'm wondering, did you notice any difference in fuel consumption or any unusual noises before this started happening?
