Yeah, the dashboard light does come on. Did you ever figure out exactly what caused it? Anything else you noticed?

Yep, same thing happened to me. It ended up being a problem related to some chip tuning the previous owner had done with third-party providers. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked out properly. They'll probably be able to diagnose it quicker than you or I could.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to a workshop and you were spot on – faulty chip tuning. Cost me 180€ to get sorted. Appreciate the help!

I also have a Crown, and I had something similar happen a while back. Does the dashboard light come on when this happens?
