Crown seat heater malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Toyota Crown hybrid's seat heater is malfunctioning, showing no warmth and storing an error code. The issue is likely due to a defective seat heating mat, as confirmed by another owner with a similar problem. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle diagnosed and repaired at a workshop, where the heating mat can be replaced.

The temperature control seems normal, no unusual readings. Just no heat at all. Where was the thermal sensor located in your case?

Okay, that sounds like exactly what I experienced. I didn't dive into the sensor location myself. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they can diagnose it properly. In my case, the seat heating mat was the issue, just as the error code indicated.

I had a similar problem with my Crown. Does the temperature control show any unusual readings, or is it just completely inactive? It might be a faulty thermal sensor, but a defective heating mat seems plausible too.
