Crown Vic Central Locking Failure

My 2006 Ford Crown Vic with a gasoline engine has a completely dead central locking system. It won't lock or unlock. Fuses are fine. Has anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue on my Crown Vic. Is it all doors, or just one? Could be the door latch sensor.

It's all the doors. Where is that sensor located? And is it hard to get to?

Yep, that's what I had. It was the cable or plug connection of the component that was defective. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. Just take it to a shop, they should be able to diagnose and fix it pretty quickly.

I took your advice and brought it to the shop. Turns out the door contact signal was faulty like you said. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the help!
