Crown Victoria Accelerator Pedal Module Defect

Got a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria with a gasoline engine. Mileage is 26441 km. Throttle valve seems defective. Higher fuel consumption and hard starts. Reckon a defective accelerator pedal module could be the culprit?

I had similar symptoms on my Crown Vic. Did you check the air intake for any obstructions?

Air intake's clear. You think it could still be throttle valve related with those symptoms?

Yeah, sounds like it to me. Those symptoms were spot on. Better get it to a workshop to be sure.

Thanks. Turned out to be exactly that. Defective accelerator pedal module. Cost me 205€ to get it sorted.
