Struggling at higher speeds? I haven't noticed that specifically, but the overheating seems more pronounced during highway driving. Is that what you experienced with your Audi?

Yep, exactly that. Highway driving made it worse. Honestly, with those symptoms and the check engine light, I'd get it to a workshop ASAP. Sounds like a faulty active air flap. Could save you bigger headaches down the road.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. The electromechanism was defective, just as suspected. The repair cost me 590€. I appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had the same issue with my old Audi A4. Check engine light plus overheating? Likely a defective electromechanism messing with your air intake and cooling system. Is the car struggling at higher speeds?
