Cruze Boost Pressure Control Fault

Got a boost pressure control fault on my 2016 Chevrolet Cruze gasoline engine. Mileage is at 212813 km. Check engine light's on, engine power's reduced, response is poor, and fuel consumption's up. Suspect a vacuum switching valve. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Chevrolet Cruze. Is it hesitating when you accelerate? Does it feel like turbo lag, perhaps from a vacuum leak affecting the bypass valve or boost controller?

Yeah, there's definitely some hesitation. How did you resolve your problem? Was it actually the valve, or something else?

In my case, all the symptoms pointed towards a defective vacuum switching valve. While I managed to diagnose the problem myself, I would strongly recommend you take your car to a workshop. The eventual repair cost was 140€.

Appreciate the info. Turns out it was the vacuum switching valve, just as suspected. Replaced it, and everything's back to normal. Cost me 140€ to get it sorted.
