Cruze Reduced Engine Power Light
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Chevrolet Cruze diesel with 62,000 km is experiencing a 'reduced engine power' light, poor starting, flickering lights, and a full error memory. These symptoms suggest a potential alternator issue, possibly due to a failing generator. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for a professional diagnosis and likely alternator replacement.

Misfires? Not that I've noticed, but honestly, with all the flashing lights, I might have missed it. What kind of problems did you have, exactly? And what did it end up being?

Yeah, all those lights and the poor start point to a dodgy generator. A workshop visit is on the cards for you. Had the same error codes and light show. Don't mess with car electronics, can get real messy real quick.

I appreciate the advice. Gonna book it in with the workshop. Sounds like I'm looking at alternator replacement then. It's gonna sting the wallet, but safety first! They quoted 960€ for the job. Thanks again!

Sounds like the alternator is going kaput. I had similar problems with my Cruze. Check your serpentine belt too, but those symptoms scream alternator issue. Any misfires?
