Interesting! Where exactly is the alarm controller located? And when you say 'similar,' was it the exact same symptoms – error code and non-functional alarm?

Yeah, the symptoms were spot on – error stored and silent alarm. As for the location, I couldn't pinpoint it myself. I took it to a workshop. Turns out, it was a corroded connector, just like I thought! They charged me 95€ to fix it, alarm reset included.
