CT200h Air Conditioning Malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Lexus CT200h with nearly 200,000 km is experiencing air conditioning issues, specifically a lack of cooling and an error related to the rear ventilation flap. The problem seems to affect the climate control system, particularly impacting rear passengers. A possible cause suggested is a faulty cable or plug connection to the flap actuator. A similar issue was resolved by checking the system diagnostics and repairing the plug connection, which was a relatively simple and inexpensive fix.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is that located? And do you remember the exact error code? I didn't write it down, unfortunately. But I was told that the error is stored.

Okay, I remember now. I had problems with the air distribution in the back. It's best to have the system diagnostics checked at a workshop. I paid 95€ for the repair. It really was just the plug.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll book it in for a check then. If it is just the connector, it should be an easy fix. The information about the repair cost is also very helpful. Cheers!

I had a similar issue with my CT200h. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the flap actuator? That was the culprit in my case. Is the error message specific?
