CT200h Alarm System Error

I've got a 2018 Lexus CT200h hybrid with a weird alarm issue. There's an error stored, and the alarm doesn't work at all. I tried disconnecting the battery, but no luck. Any ideas?

I own a CT200h too, and I think I had something similar. Did the error mention the alarm system being coded to activate the optical locking confirmation (indicators flashing when locking/unlocking)?

Yes, the error message does mention the optical locking confirmation. How might that be related to the alarm problem? What steps did you take to figure that out?

That's the same error I had. For me, the optical locking setting seemed to mess with the alarm control module. I couldn't fix it myself, so I'd suggest a workshop.

Thanks for the help! I went to a Lexus tech, and you were right, it was the alarm system coding for optical locking. They recoded it, and the error is gone. Cost me 45€.
