Thanks! Yes, I've tried connecting my phone via Bluetooth, but that doesn't work either – exactly as you described. As for flickering or strange behavior, I honestly can't recall anything specific immediately before the problem occurred. But I did notice the occasional, very brief, distortion in the audio over the past few months. Could that be connected? Was it indeed the head unit in your case, and if so, what did you do to fix it? Also, do you remember what error code you got?

That distortion you mentioned definitely sounds like it could be related. It could be a sign of the display slowly failing. In my case, after a lot of research and checking connections, I took it to a reputable workshop. They confirmed my suspicion: the display was indeed defective and needed replacement. I know it's not the news you were hoping for, but based on your description and my own experience, it might be time to have it professionally diagnosed. The bill came to around 725€. They might also be able to pinpoint the exact error code stored in the system.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It sounds like I'm facing the same issue. I'll take your advice and bring the car to a workshop for a professional diagnosis. I own a CT200h as well, and I recall encountering a similar issue a while back. The complete silence from the speakers, despite the head unit appearing to function, sounds familiar. Have you tried connecting your phone via Bluetooth? In my case, even that wouldn't work. It's like the audio signal was being completely cut off. If the error memory also points to the head unit, it does sound like the display is defective. Did you happen to notice any flickering or unusual behavior from the screen before the sound disappeared?
