Thanks! I did give the battery terminals a look and they seemed okay, but I'll double-check them for corrosion and tightness. If that isn't it, any other ideas?

Double-checking the terminals is a good first step. When mine acted up, it was a defective battery sensor. It wasn't giving accurate readings, messing with the charging system, and led to a heavily discharged battery. Get it checked out at a workshop; cost me around 315€ to fix.

I drive a CT200h too and your symptoms sound like what I went through last year. Weak lights, error codes... the whole thing. Did you check the battery terminals for corrosion or if they're properly tightened? A loose connection can cause weirdness.
