Thanks! When you say behind the control panel, do I have to take the whole dashboard apart? I'm comfortable with some disassembly, but worried about damage. Did your error memory also show a similar error code?

Yes, you'll need to remove the trim around the panel to access the connectors. I recommend looking for a service manual online; it should have detailed instructions. My error memory also stored an error. If you aren't completely comfortable, it might be best to take it to a workshop. Could save you a lot of headaches.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I appreciate you confirming the error message. Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – it was a loose electrical connector. They re-seated it and cleared the error for 95€.

I had a similar problem with my CT200h climate control. Did you check the electrical connectors behind the control panel itself? Sometimes they come loose or corrode, which can cause electronic faults. Might be worth a look before you start replacing parts.
