CT200h Crankshaft Sensor Issue

Hi, I have a 2016 Lexus CT200h (hybrid engine) with 133576 km. The check engine light is on, and I've noticed reduced engine power, poor response, and higher fuel consumption. I scanned it and got a 'crankshaft to camshaft reference value' error. Could a defective crankshaft sensor be the cause?

I had a similar issue with my CT200h. Same symptoms. Did you notice any engine misfires or rough idling alongside the reference value error?

No misfires or rough idling that I've noticed, just the power loss and the other symptoms. Is that crankshaft sensor the most likely culprit?

It was the crankshaft sensor in my case. I'd advise getting it checked at a workshop to be sure, but it sounds very similar.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the shop, and it was indeed the crankshaft sensor. Repair cost was 340€. Runs perfectly now!
