Thank you for your response. I haven't yet inspected the throttle body directly, but I did check some basic fuses. Could a defective cable connection realistically cause this?

Yes, it definitely could! In my case, a slightly corroded connector was the culprit. But diagnosing car electronics can be tricky. Based on your description, and since the error is stored, a visit to a workshop might be beneficial. They can run proper diagnostics and pinpoint the problem. If it's a defective connection, the repair shouldn't be too expensive.

I appreciate the insight. I will have it inspected at a workshop. It turned out to be a defective cable connection, and the repair cost was 95€. Thank you again.

Hello! I have a Lexus CT200h as well and something similar happened to me a while ago. The error message and the cruise control failing are definitely worrying. Did you check the throttle body or any related connections? Perhaps a faulty plug?
