Thanks for your reply. No light turned on. Could deposits in the combustion chamber be the culprit? It feels a bit like detonation, but I'm not sure. What fuel octane do you use?

Deposits could be the source of the issue. If the symptoms remain despite changes in fuel quality, I would recommend visiting a qualified workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. You were right; it turned out to be deposits in the combustion chamber. A professional cleaning set me back 425€, but the car is running smoothly again.

I also have a CT200h, and a knocking sound accompanied by power loss and jerking reminds me of when I had contaminated fuel. Was that also paired with any check engine lights?
