CT200h Gearbox Issues
Summary of the thread
The 2012 Lexus CT200h is experiencing gearbox issues, including slipping, poor shifting, grinding noises, slow paddle shifter response, and emergency mode activation, accompanied by an error code. These symptoms suggest a potential defect in the transmission control unit. Diagnostics have pointed to this component, and replacing it has resolved similar issues in other vehicles. Scheduling an inspection with a trusted mechanic is recommended to confirm the fault and address the problem.

Yes, the diagnostics pointed to the transmission control unit. Did replacing the computer module fix the issues you were having with your Opel?

Yes. Replacing the control unit fixed the issues for me. I recommend taking your Lexus to a good workshop. They can properly diagnose and confirm the fault. Good luck.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I'll schedule an appointment with a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection and to potentially replace the transmission control unit. Appreciated!

I had similar issues with my 2014 Opel Insignia. The symptoms you describe sound like electronic issues I experienced. Did the diagnostics identify the transmission computer?
