Was it a straightforward fix, or did you need to replace the entire door handle? I'm reasonably handy, but I'm not sure I want to start tearing into the door panel if it's complicated.

I understand your hesitation. After examining the situation, I found the best course of action was a visit to a qualified workshop. There they diagnosed and resolved the fault, addressing the defective cable and plug connection.

I took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on! It turned out to be a faulty connection in the door handle wiring. They sorted it for 95€, which I thought was pretty reasonable. Keyless entry is working again.

I had a similar issue with my CT200h. It's frustrating when convenience features fail. In my case, the problem was within the door handle's electronics. Have you checked the cable and plug connection?
