CT200h Stalling at Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus CT200h hybrid was experiencing stalling at idle and a persistent check engine light. The suspected cause was a malfunctioning tank ventilation valve, possibly due to clogged hoses. After consulting with a mechanic, the issue was confirmed and resolved by replacing the valve and hoses, resulting in the car running smoothly again.

Hoses look okay, maybe a bit worn, but nothing obvious. Where exactly did you find the problem in your car? Is it easy to reach the valve?

Honestly, I couldn't figure it out myself and took it straight to the workshop. They confirmed it was the ventilation valve and replaced some hoses too. Save yourself the headache and get it checked by a pro, trust me!

Thanks for the advice! Took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on. It was indeed the tank ventilation valve and some clogged hoses. They replaced everything for 175€. Running smoothly now!

Yep, sounds very similar to what happened with my CT200h. Check that emission system! Frustrating issue. How are the hoses?
