CT200h Uneven Idling
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus CT200h with 188,546 km is experiencing uneven idling, possibly due to a defective engine mount. The issue might also stem from a defective cable or plug connection. A similar case suggested checking the transmission mount, particularly the lower mounting bracket, as a potential cause. A workshop inspection is recommended to accurately diagnose and resolve the problem.

Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'mounting bracket,' are you referring to the upper or lower one? And was your error memory showing anything specific, or just a general engine issue?

Yes, I'm referring to the lower mounting bracket. My error memory was displaying a code indicating a failed mount. I would suggest a thorough inspection, but a workshop visit might be in order to pinpoint it exactly. My experience tells me it might be mount wear.

Okay, thanks so much for the insight. I'll take it to the shop; they found the cable connection defective and it cost 95€. Hopefully, this will solve the issue!

I had a similar issue with my CT200h. It also had uneven idling and I found out that the mounting bracket was the issue. Have you checked the transmission mount specifically? That could be where your vibration issues are coming from.
