Interesting. Which seat was it under? I haven't gotten that far yet, was planning on tracing the wiring diagrams first.

On the Volvo it was under the driver's seat. It's worth having a look yourself. The connector was visibly corroded. But honestly, after fiddling with it myself for an afternoon, I'd just recommend getting it checked out by a professional. You don't want to mess with the airbags, vehicle safety is paramount.

I appreciate the tip. I took it to a workshop, and as suspected, it was indeed a defective plug connection. They quoted 95€ for the repair. All sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Volvo V60. Airbag light was on constantly. Turned out to be a faulty connector under one of the seats. Have you tried checking those?
