Cube power window failure
Summary of the thread
The power windows on a 2010 Nissan Cube diesel stopped working, with none of the switches functioning. The initial suspicion was a faulty power window switch, despite an error being stored. After checking that the fuses were intact and the central locking was operational, it was suggested that the issue might be within the door panel, possibly the window regulator or switch. A workshop visit confirmed the problem as a defective power window switch, which was replaced to resolve the issue.

I checked the fuses, and they're fine. The central locking works. Could it be something in the door panel itself, like a faulty window regulator?

Okay, if the fuses are good and the central locking works, yeah, it's likely something in the door. Window regulator or the switch itself. Honestly, unless you're super comfortable taking the door panel off and testing things with a multimeter, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They can pinpoint it quickly.

I took it to a local workshop, and the power window switch was defective and needed replacement. The repair cost 200€.

That sounds like a pain! It's probably the switch, but have you checked the fuses? A blown fuse could cause all the windows to stop working. Does the central locking still work? If not, it might point to a bigger electrical problem.
