I'm having a strange issue with my 2022 Nissan Dayz electric. The ABS lamp lights up, and I'm experiencing traction problems. It feels like the ABS system is failing. Has anyone else encountered a speed signal fault with these symptoms? The car has 162100 km. I am at a loss.

I had similar issues with my Dayz. The ABS light, traction control acting up... sounds familiar. Was the speed sensor itself checked? It might be worth looking into before anything else.

In my case, the sensor wasn't the root cause. It turned out to be a defective control unit. I'd recommend having a workshop check the ECM to be sure. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I will take it to the shop to check the control unit, as you suggested. Hope it solves the issue without costing too much. The estimate is around 1000€.
