Dayz ABS and Traction Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Nissan Dayz electric is experiencing ABS and traction problems, with the ABS lamp lighting up, suggesting a potential failure in the system. The issue might be related to a speed signal fault. A possible cause could be a defective speed sensor, but another user with a similar problem found that the control unit was the actual issue. It is recommended to have a workshop check the ECM to accurately diagnose and resolve the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you had the same issue, did replacing the sensor fix it, or was there more to it? I'm trying to avoid unnecessary repairs.

In my case, the sensor wasn't the root cause. It turned out to be a defective control unit. I'd recommend having a workshop check the ECM to be sure. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I will take it to the shop to check the control unit, as you suggested. Hope it solves the issue without costing too much. The estimate is around 1000€.

I had similar issues with my Dayz. The ABS light, traction control acting up... sounds familiar. Was the speed sensor itself checked? It might be worth looking into before anything else.
