Hello, your journey sure sounds like an epic saga! Kudos to you for wrestling with those finicky gremlins and coming out on top. My 2022 Tarraco's been hissing and grumbling similarly. I'm bracing myself the same shenanigans with the transmission converter. I can already see my Saturday afternoons go up in engine smoke! By the way, do you remember the dent this adventure made in your wallet? And has anything else popped up after your big fix? It'd be great to know what I might be getting myself into. Cheers!

Hey, ya hit a sore spot there, but I guess it's better for you to know now. So, once the bloody drama with the converter lockup clutch was sorted, she started behaving like a dream again. The mechanic nailed the issue, and after a hefty payment of 2120€, the beast was tamed. The automatic transmission converter was the goblin causing trouble. The good news? Since then, things have been smooth sailing, no other nasty surprises. Look, it's a bitter pill to swallow, but hey, better now than out on the open road somewhere, right? Here's to smooth rides and full tanks, cheers!

Hey, thanks for the heads up! Sounds like you were in for a proper joyride, and look at you now, all chirpy and cruizin' again! I'm dreading that bill, but as you rightly pointed out, a broken down car in the middle of nowhere is a horror show I'd rather not star in. Apologies for giving your wallet wound a lil' poke, but c'mon, at least you're riding high and fine now, huh? Well, your tale has definitely armed me with more than a clue of what lies ahead, so cheers for that! Here's to conquering our car battles one gear at a time. Safe drivin’ and good vibes to ya

Hey, going by your story, our journeys sound eerily similar. I drive a 2019 Seat Ateca and dealt with those wicked grinding noises, lagging gear shifts and a generally uncooperative transmission. Your hunch may well be right, my man! After enduring headaches and needles in my stomach for weeks, it turned out the culprit was indeed the transmission converter; defective and not happy. It’s no skippable issue. Mechanics had to extract the darn thing, test it and be sure it was the scapegoat. If that wasn't painful enough, getting the correct replacement spare part was another huddle. It sort of felt like waiting for a Christmas gift. Then followed the refitting - which was just as bad, and I remember it took a tidy bit of time to sort the whole mess. Before long, she was back on the road, running smooth as silk. My advice? Don't delay it. It's a serious issue - if you leave it, you're risking further damage that could leave you stranded somewhere you don't want to be. Find a mechanic you trust (I know, easier said than done), or you could drop by my garage (you'll need a time machine though, it was a couple years back!). Hang in there, and fingers crossed, she'll be back purring away nice and quick!
