Hey, thanks for your insight! Sounds like I should get it checked out too. Can you remember what you paid for the ECU repair back then? And has anything else come up since then or is your Renault Scenic Diesel still running perfectly? Greetings and thanks again for your help!

Hey, sure, no problem! I spent a total of €1000 on repairing the control unit, including troubleshooting and all the other bits and pieces. Since then, my Renault Scenic Diesel has been running like a charm. The message error has been completely rectified and I've had no more problems. Keep your fingers crossed that everything turns out well for you too! Take care and keep us up to date!

Hey, wow, that's not exactly a small amount, but more important than the money is of course that the car runs. I'm really relieved to hear that your Renault Scenic Diesel has been running perfectly since the repair. That gives me hope that mine will soon be fit again. I will definitely go to the garage and have it checked. Keep your fingers crossed that I have as much luck as you! Thanks again for the tips and see you next time!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2021 Renault Scenic Diesel a few months ago. In my case, the control unit was defective and was sending incorrect signals to the BUS system. My headlights were also flickering and the engine wasn't starting well. I went to the garage and they had to replace the control unit. They also said that the message error was actually due to the control unit. Make sure you get it checked at the garage, it's no small matter if there's a fault in the BUS system. It was pretty serious in my case. Hope this helps you, cheer up!
