DMax AC Not Cooling

Hi, my 2011 Chevrolet DMax diesel has an AC issue. It's done 224559 km. The air conditioning no longer cools, and the system doesn't even switch on. Could this be a refrigerant leak or something more serious? Any ideas?

Hey, I had a similar problem with my DMax. Check for any unusual AC noise first. It might be a defect in individual valves. If it's not blowing at all, also give the blower motor a check.

Thanks for the tip! When you had the similar issue on your DMax, did the AC just suddenly stop working, or was it a gradual decline in AC efficiency?

Mine just stopped working suddenly. It turned out to be a valve issue, like I said. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right, it was the valves. Cost me about 1000€ to fix, but at least it's working again!
