DMax AC Not Cooling
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Chevrolet DMax diesel with 224,559 km has an AC issue where the system no longer cools or switches on. Possible causes include a refrigerant leak or a defect in individual valves. A suggested solution is to check for unusual AC noise and inspect the blower motor. Ultimately, the problem was diagnosed as a valve issue, which was resolved at a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! When you had the similar issue on your DMax, did the AC just suddenly stop working, or was it a gradual decline in AC efficiency?

Mine just stopped working suddenly. It turned out to be a valve issue, like I said. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right, it was the valves. Cost me about 1000€ to fix, but at least it's working again!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my DMax. Check for any unusual AC noise first. It might be a defect in individual valves. If it's not blowing at all, also give the blower motor a check.
