Thanks for the quick reply! I'm pretty sure it's the chip tuning, yes. The code is pointing towards the ECU, which is why I'm suspicious. What did you end up doing to fix yours?

Yep, sounds very familiar. I also initially suspected the chip. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed the chip tuning was causing the issue. They re-flashed the ECU to the original settings. Definitely get it checked out by a professional.

Thanks for confirming! I suspected as much. I took it to a trusted mechanic, and it turned out the chip tuning was indeed the issue. They re-flashed the ECU for 180€. Runs like a dream now!

I had a similar experience with my DMax. Same symptoms: reduced power and a fault code. Are you sure about the chip tuning? It's often the culprit. What code is it throwing?
