Temp gauge seems normal. It's mainly the warning light in the speedometer and the oil pressure light, plus the error code. What was your experience and how did you fix it?

Gauge was fine for me too. But all those lights popping up drove me nuts! After fiddling with it myself for an afternoon, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it quick; turned out to be a dodgy sensor connection, like you suspect. Best to get it checked properly; could save you a bigger headache.

Thanks, I'll book it in with a workshop for a proper look. For info, the defective cable and oil temperature sensor replacement cost 95€.

I've got a DMax, not sure the year offhand. Sounds familiar! Similar thing happened to me a while back – warning lights, odd readings. Was the temperature gauge acting strangely too, or just the oil pressure light?
