DPF Regeneration Issues and Loss of Power in VW Polo
Hey everyone, I have a VW Polo 6R and I'm experiencing some issues. The dashboard lights for the heating coil, DPF, and check engine are on, and I'm also noticing a loss of power. I suspect the DPF might be clogged, but there's no black smoke, even at high RPMs. Is it possible to perform an active regeneration for the DPF using a scanner? Does anyone have a quick fix or advice on what steps I should take next? I haven't checked the error codes yet. Thanks in advance for your help!

Start by checking the error codes with an OBD-II scanner to identify the specific issues. This will help confirm if the DPF is clogged or if there are other problems. Once you have the codes, you can decide if an active regeneration is needed or if other repairs are necessary. Let me know what codes you find or if you have any questions!
