Thanks for the reply! You mentioned the input sensor. Was it an easy fix, or did it involve ripping half the car apart? How did you pinpoint it to the sensor specifically? Any clues you can share would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't a quick fix, I'm afraid. I tried a few things myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and confirmed it was the ABS control unit itself that was defective. Cost me about 1000€ to get sorted. Maybe get yours checked out by a professional, as it does sound very similar.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! Sounds like my 'dodgy sensor' hunch was a bit optimistic. I'll book it in at the garage and brace myself for a potentially hefty bill. At least I have an idea of what to expect now.

Sounds familiar. I've got a DS3 too, though a bit older. I had a similar thing a while back – ABS light, traction control going bonkers. It felt like driving on ice even when it was dry! Have you checked the ABS input sensor? Mine was throwing up error codes related to that.
